This is the beautiful result of an ambition to make sustainable and practical design. It’s the work of Sigrid Juel Jensen who won the FSC Design Award – a competition aimed at Danish design and architecture students. The goal of the competition is make sustainability and good design go hand in hand. FSC is an international, non-profit organization working to ensure the use of sustainable wood and paper. After winning the competition Sigrid has been in Canada working with local craftsmen and materials to develope the design – a hall stand called “Skrue” (screw). All photos taken by photographer Morten Bo Johansson.
